Ostrov Mechty Children’s Amusement Park

“Dream Island” is a large entertainment complex that combines a theme park, shopping and entertainment center, and children’s amusement park. For this project, Lichtschneider specialists developed an interior lighting design concept, performed lighting engineering design, and supplied equipment.

Projects of this scale and format place special requirements on lighting. Light must work simultaneously on several levels: support the themes of park spaces, ensure functional parameters in retail areas, create atmosphere in entertainment zones, and guarantee safety for movement and maintenance. Each of these tasks requires its own approach to selecting light sources, color temperatures, and the character of light distribution.

The lighting design concept was built based on visitor scenario logic — how a person moves between zones, what they see at each stage, and what visual impressions form the overall perception of the complex. The lighting engineering project translated the concept into technical terms: calculations, specifications, and equipment layout schemes. Equipment supply completed the cycle — equipment was selected in accordance with the project.

Such large-scale projects require particularly careful coordination between the conceptual and engineering parts of the work.
