Novaya Riga Outlet Village

Novaya Riga Outlet Village is a large shopping and entertainment complex in outlet village format, for which Lichtschneider specialists developed a lighting design concept and executed lighting engineering design with subsequent equipment supply.

The outlet format places special requirements on lighting: visitors spend several hours on the premises, move between pavilions, examine storefronts and merchandise. Light here works on several levels simultaneously — navigational, presentational, and atmospheric. The lighting design concept for Novaya Riga Outlet Village was built around these objectives: light should guide, highlight retail zones, and create an environment comfortable for extended stays.

During the concept development stage, the lighting character, color temperature, distribution of light accents, and principles for working with the complex’s architecture were determined. The lighting engineering design translated the concept into technical terms: illumination levels were calculated, lighting fixtures were selected, and installation and connection schemes were developed. The final stage was equipment supply, selected according to the project parameters.

This comprehensive approach — from concept to delivery — preserves the integrity of the lighting solution and avoids compromises that are inevitable when these stages are divided between different contractors.
