For the “Mozaika” shopping center, Lichtschneider specialists carried out reconstruction of exterior and interior lighting, conducted lighting design and equipment supply.

Shopping center lighting reconstruction is a complex task that requires simultaneously considering existing architecture and engineering systems, real operating scenarios, current requirements for light quality and energy efficiency. The work encompasses both exterior and interior lighting, which allows bringing the facility to current standards both from the facade and adjacent territories side, and from the public areas, galleries and atriums side.

Exterior lighting works on the complex’s recognizability in the urban environment, on the safety of approaches and parking areas, on forming the visitor’s first impression even before entering the shopping center. Interior lighting continues the character established outside and solves its own set of tasks — from navigation to the atmosphere of public spaces. The lighting design project translated solutions into working documentation, equipment supply ensured implementation compliance with design parameters.

Reconstruction in an operating facility requires special engineering precision — solutions must be implementable without radical interference with the complex’s operation.
