Vesna Shopping Mall is a retail and entertainment complex for which Stefan Schneider participated in the lighting design project as key client development manager and lighting designer as part of Tochka Opory company.

Working on shopping center lighting as part of a specialized lighting company involves participation at different stages — from first contact with the client and discussing objectives to supporting design and supply solutions. Each such project expands understanding of how light works in retail space: how it interacts with architecture, how it affects the perception of rental areas, how it creates a comfortable environment for visitors.

Lighting in a large shopping center simultaneously solves several tasks — navigational, presentational, atmospheric, functional. The quality of the lighting solution affects both the overall perception of the complex, visitor comfort, and tenant operational efficiency. These tasks require a comprehensive approach and accumulated industry experience.

Today this experience forms the foundation of Lichtschneider’s approach to shopping mall projects. Accumulated practices of working with shopping centers of different scales allow for more precise formulation of lighting objectives and proposing solutions aligned with real operational scenarios of the facility.
